Folio 181: Joshua Sydney Horton, Regulating Officer, Liverpool. He sent his quarterly accounts ending 31 December 1808, including the charges of Mr Renwick, Druggist, for medicines used by the press gangs under his direction amounting to £1 8s 6d. Similarly, Mr Lindsay's bill for medicines and attendance on Lieutenant Baly for the amount of £1 19s, which the Commissioners refused to pay without an order from The Admiralty. Requests an order for the payment, as was custom with his predecessor.
