Folios 221-222: Sydney Horton, Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Christopher Hughes, born Weston, volunteered with Lieutenant Baly but the Surgeon now says he has fits and is not suitable. Stephen Dornan entered with Lieutenant Baly and was born in Antrim. He has had the Press warrants for himself and his men and one addressed to Alexander Lighterness of the True Blue tender. The tender and Master are not under his direction, so should he send the warrrant.
Folios 223-224: enclosure with folios 221-222. Petition dated 16 December 1808 of Stephen Dornan. He came over to earn money by doing farm work but was impressed and asks to be released.
Folios 225-226: enclosure with folios 221-222. Letter dated 21 December 1808 by Elizabeth Hughes, 36 Norfolk Street, Liverpool. Christopher Hughes now aboard HMS Princess is subject to fits so should be released.
