Folios 155-156: Sydney Horton, Regulating Officer, Liverpool. James Stanbury, impressed by Lieutenant Rees, was born in Exeter and claimed to be Mate of the Cockatrice but William Lawrence, impressed at the same time said he was Mate and Stanbury a Seaman. He has enquired into the charges made by Michael Cox against John Fearns, alias Little Jack, Midshipman at Coopers Rendezvous.
