Folios 635-636: Thomas [Hannaford] Hurd, Sloane Street. Having been informed by Admiral Gambier that he is to be sent again to the Bay of Brest to continue his Nautical Survey. He request to be allowed two assistance to aid him in the survey as well as a vessel calculated for that service. [Total of one plus sides with comments of problems doing surveys].
