Description

Folios 611-612: Lauchlan Hunter, [Sea Fencibles], Wells. Reply to letter dated 17 September 1807 and that of 18 September 1807 with the enclosed [not present] printed orders and states he has complied with the orders and in consequence he encloses a list of twenty men you have volunteered for the service each of which he has given a printed order for their discharge and has sent them to Yarmouth Roads and he expects them to be there on 22 or 23 September 1807.

Folios 613-614: enclosure with folios 611-612. A List of twenty men who have volunteered from the Sea Fencibles at Wells Norfolk to Assist in bringing to England the Danish Ships of War. Thomas Hendereson, Mark Middleton, Robert Frost, John Hall, William Goodman, Joseph Bartram, James Woods, Charles Bunn, Robert Oliver, James Couzens, Niles Gowers, James Smith, John Dock, John Shane, James Barrett, John Perry, Henry Barningham, Joal Sanphor, George White & Lee Flaxman.
