Folios 575-576: William Hoste, HMS Amphion, Spithead. Having today received orders from Admiral Montagu to receive on board HMS Amphion the Honourable William Hill His Majesty's Envoy Extrandenory & Minister Plenipotentiary to the Court of Sardinia and Mr Mellish[?] His Majesty's Secretary of Legation to the Court of Sicily & give them passage with their Suites, Servants and Baggage to the places of there destination. Request the customary allowance be granted to be paid defraying the expenses of their passage.
