Folios 567-568: William Hoste, HMS Amphion, Portsmouth Harbour. States that HMS Osprey having proceeded to Sea without discharging her Boatswain, who was appointed to HMS Amphion, and Mr Hugh Williams the present Boatswain being appointed to HMS San at Gibraltar. He request the appointment of a Boatswain to HMS Amphion and can recommend Mr Richard Unthank present Boatswain of HMS La Fleche be appointed being strongly recommended by Captain White of that Sloop.
