Folios 565-566: John Hudson, HMS Spy, the Downs. Reports that although Lieutenant Carter was appointed to the hired cutter Adrian some time ago, Commander Hudson was obliged to keep him aboard the Spy during a trip to the River Elbe with a convoy. Mr Carter was superceded yesterday by Lieutenant Robert Yetts and now is asking where he can join the Adrian.
