Folios 250-251: John Harvey, HMS Canada, Spithead. Reports that he has received a letter from Mr McNab, Gunner of HMS Diamond, who has been appointed to the Canada, to say he has arrived at Plymouth but that the Gunner appointed to succeed him is aboard HMS Brilliant on the Irish station and he fears the Diamond will sail again before he can join. Asks for Mr McNab's discharge from the Brilliant to be sent to him.
