Folios 190-191: William Hargood, HMS Belleisle, the Hamoaze. As directed, lists those Lieutenants who have joined the ship, James McDowell, Edward Stone Cotgrave, James Leverick and Josiah Thompson. Reports that since his earlier letter suggesting that Carpenter John Hicks be given a less strenuous posting, Mr Hicks has received an injury which, together with his age and infirmity, make such a posting more necessary.
