Folios 615-616: Robert Hall, HMS Malabar, Sheerness. Lieutenant Edward Libby, who has been appointed to his ship on the removal of Lieutenant Biggard to HMS Belligueux, is one month senior to Lieutenant William Alner, who has been first Lieutenant of the ship from her commissioning. He asks for another more junior Lieutenant to be appointed in place of Lieutenant Libby.
