Folios 485-486 Thoms Hands, Grimsby. He acknowledges Lieutenant Pardoe's appointment to HMS Brilliant. The Greenland fishery has been so successful this year that the Burney has already returned and landed 20 Men at Flamborough head. It is their practice to land Men in the Orkneys and northern ports. He estimates 300 Men were lost to the Navy last year by this practice.
