Folios 483-484: Richard Turner Hancock, HMS Plover, Falmouth. The conduct of Mr Usherwood, Midshipman, during the 2 years he has served under him has met with his aproval. As an Officer and Seaman he is extremely steady and deserving favour. At present he does not desire a Gunner's warrant as he is happy in his present position.
