Has heard reports that officers are being selected to serve with the Sea Fencibles in Ireland he states that he is acquainted with the coast between Youghall and Bantry. He has relatives in Dublin, Cork and Kinsale where he knows many of the local fisherfolk and others. He asks to be employed in the Service.
