Folios 241-242: John Oakes Hardy, HMS Achille, Hamoaze. He has been aboard his new ship HMS Courageux and finds that most of the Mates, Midshipmen and Boys were recommissioned, 20 named men, so he is not able to take any of the men who want to join him from HMS L'Achille. He would like to be able to bring his own men in.
