Folios 601-602: Philip Hue, HMS Actaeon, Liverpool. Responding to Admiralty query of 11 November, says he has examined the three boys - Richard Brusgirdle, Hugh Kirk, and George Hares - and finds them to be the apprentices as stated, so has discharged them as directed.
Folios 603-604: enclosure with folios 601-602. Letter dated 6 November 1800 by James Astley, Liverpool, to Simon Cork, saying three of his apprentices have been sent aboard the Actaeon by Captain Goldesborough, and asks for Cork to obtain the order for their release.
Folio 605: enclosure with folios 601-602. Letter dated 8 November 1800 by Simon Cork, 54 Thames Street, as requested by Mr Astley he writes to request that the three apprentices mentioned may be liberated.
