Folios 452-453: Philip Hue, HMS Actaeon, Liverpool. Responding to Admiralty query of 4 September, says that Henry Corbett has a wife and family in Ireland and as he has been working as a labourer here, it's unlikely he has been able to send them any financial support. Hue doesn't know if the man has been at sea but Corbett says not and Hue from apperances is inclined to believe him.
Folios 454-455: enclosure with folios 452-453. Letter dated 1 September 1800 by Thomas Keating, writing on behalf of Corbett, says the man is not a seaman, and has a wife and 7 children as well as an aged mother all dependent on his work as a porter. Asks that he be liberated.
