Description

Folios 595-596: Robert Honeyman, Suffolk Street. Enclosing a letter from a gentleman, Mr Brown, in Orkney, which he believes could materially serve the interest of government there.

Folios 597-598: enclosure with folios 595-596. Letter dated 27 January 1800 from a David Geddes in Stromness to Honeyman [MP for Orkney and Shetland] regarding a Mr Brown who is imprisonned, despite being Master of a vessel and whose release is seen as vital to the relationship between The Admiralty and the Orkneys.
