Folios 582-583: Martin Hinton, HMS Modeste, Deptford. The Gunner on Modeste being dead, he reqests that the gunner from HMS Jamaica, Mr Parsons, also in Deptford Port, be appointed and also requests that William Stephenson on HMS Boxer be promoted into Modeste.
Folio 584: enclosure with folios 582-583. Note from Thomas Gilbert, Lieutenant on HMS Boxer, confirming that Stevenson (sic) is happy to oblige.
