Folsio 260-261: enclosure with folios 258-259. Letter dated 13 April 1800 by Lieutenant William Cullis, HMS Squirrel. Explaining that he boarded the American ship Samuel Smith of Baltimore but that the person commanding her refused to show his papers and would not allow any of his men, of which there were over 100, to show their papers protecting them as American seamen.
