Description

Folios 235-236: Graham Hamond, HMS Lion, Spithead. Informing of his arrival in Spithead, after 18 days, from Gibralta with dispatches for the Admiralty from Lord Keith.

Folios 237-238: enclosure with folios 235-236. Orders dated 25 September 1800 by Lord Keith, HMS Foudroyant, Gibraltar to Graham Hamond ordering his departure as soon as the wind permits for Spithead and if winds do not permit, then to go into Plymouth and ensure the dispatches are sent from there without delay.
