Folios 159-160: Charles Hamilton, HMS Melpomene, Spithead. Regarding Robert McLean, now taken on board Melpomene, after he was left at Porto Praya by Lieutenant Grant, Captain of HMS Lady Nelson.
Folios 161-162: enclosure with folios 159-160. Letter dated 15 April 1800 from Grant to the Governor of St. Jago, Porto Praya, explaining the reasons for leaving him in his custody to await a ship returning to England.
