Folios 72-73: Michael Halliday, HMS Leander, the Downs. Enclosing his journal of the voyage from Gibralter on 7 April (not present) and a list of supernumeraries, including men belonging to other ships in the Mediterranean who he required assist the navigation of HMS Leander and as some have been away from their own ships for more than 12 months, he requests to know if he may keep them as part of his complement; likewise he needs instructions about a number of Russians taken by a French privateer; finally reports that, in addition to the Greek brig Polacre dismasted yesterday, he fears for the Kennet of Kirkadine from Oporto which has not been seen.
