Folios 68-69: Michael Halliday, HMS Leander, The Downs. Reporting his arrival together with HMS Chichester, Gorgon, the Empress Mary Storeship and convoy (list not present) and that the Greek brig Polacre which joined his convoy, lost her masts in a hard squall and has not been seen to come in, while HMS Chichester, sent to aid her, has arrived.
Folios 70-71: enclosure with folios 68-69. Orders dated 25 January 1800 by Lord Keith, HMS Queen Charlotte in Leghorn Roads to Michael Halliday. Copy of sailing orders.
