Folios 59-60: Michael Halliday, HMS Leander, Mahon. Regarding orders from Lord Keith to proceed to Corfu to take command of HMS Leander, but learning in Palermo from Lord Nelson that she had already sailed with the convoy under Captain Steven of HMS Chichester, he returned to Mahon where he found her safe but entirely stripped of stores, all glass smashed and bulk-heads and interior destroyed by the French; so he now is proceeding to Gibralter where he hopes to get her ready for service in 6 weeks to 2 months.
