Folio 572: enclosure with folios 570-571. Copy of reply dated 11 February 1799 from Mr Martin, East Church, to Captain Honyman. He is sorry he has offended Captain Honyman, but there was a great deal of ice on the shore and very bad travelling. He understood that he was at liberty not to go on board if the weather was unfavourable. If Captain Honyman intends to be strict with him regarding his shore duty he asks to be superceded from the ship as it does not suit him to do his duty next Sunday.
Folio 573: enclosure with folios 570-571. Copy of order dated 11 February 1799 from Captain Honyman, HMS Dordrecht, East Swale, to Mr Martin directing him to perform Divine Service on board HMS Dordrecht next Sunday, weather permitting, or give timely notice if he unable to do so.
