Folios 203-205: Graham Eden Hamond, HMS Champion, Harwich. Receipt of yesterday's letter and is sorry to find the Admiralty is displeased with him staying so long at Harwich. His order was to refit and victual for 4 months so he assumed all the defects were to be repaired before proceeding to sea. As there are few hands in the dock yard the rudder was not completed until 2 days ago and since then they have been working on repairs to the hull. The ship will be ready for sea this evening.
