Folios 146-147: Charles Herbert, HMS Amelia, Greenock. Report his arrival here last night having been obliged to part company with HMS Magnanime & two French Frigates (the Ambuscade [L'Ambuscade] and [Cocquile ?] taken in the late action off Torre [Tory] Island. Reports that HMS Amelia lost no men bur has sustained some damage to her hull and rigging.
