Folios 130-131: William Heath, Regulating Officer, Londonderry. Report that an express was received by Lord Cavan yesterday evening at five o'clock that a French Ship of War had come into the Rosser and landed one hundred men, that they had Arms & Sadles [Saddles] which were offered to the Country People. Report that HMS Doris, HMS Melampus and HMS Cygnet were in Lough Swile for Provisions, they sailed immediately in pursuit of the enemy.
