Folios 106-107: John Baker Hay, HMS La Sensible [HMS Sensible], Spithead. Report that HMS La Sensible [HMS Sensible] has been forced due to the long prevailing violence of the South West Winds and Hurricane on the first November 1798 to bear up from Corunna for England after having lost her Fore and Main Topmasts. Enclosed the results of a consultation held with the Officers about the situation and condition of her Crew. [Total of one plus side].
Folios 108-109: enclosure with folios 106-107. Report dated 1 November 1798 on the condition of HMS La Sensible [HMS Sensible] and her Crew. Signed:- [?] - Master, J Ayscough - 3rd Lieutenant, Robert Stupart - 1st Lieutenant and John Baker Hay - Captain. Note:- The Second Lieutenant absent in a detained Ship. [Total of two plus sides].
