Folios 82-83: John Baker Hay, HMS Alliance, Woolwich. He has received the notice dated 11 April 1798 relative to the removal of the Carpenter of HMS Alliance. He has sent Mr Moffat the Boatswain to the Admiralty and should he be superannuated he requests the appointment of John Calander of HMS Queen Charlotte in his vacancy.
