Folios 197-198: Lawrence William Halstead, HMS Phoenix, Milford Haven. Reports that he has received a letter from Lieutenant Kinneer informing him that HMS Almwell arrived in King Road on 27 December [1797] and that the Mayor of Bristol wishes it to be stationed in the neighbourhood of The Holmes. He will do this.
