Folios 172-173: Michael Halliday, HMS Woolwich, Spithead. Responding to the request of 15 September asking whether he wished to keep Lieutenant Jonathon Williams if he returned to the ship before Lieutenant Lewis joins. He has not been able to make contact with Lieutenant Williams. His letters to him have ben returned. Lieutenant Lewis has joined the ship so Lieutenant Williams has been replaced.
