Folios 243-244: David Hotchkis, HMS Puissant, Spithead. The ship does not have tackles to open the lower deck ports. The Storekeeper of Ordnance has stated that they cannot be provided as the ship does not have guns. The ports need to be opened for the health of the ship's company. He asks for an order for ropes, thimbles and blocks to be provided.
