Folios 213-214: Rodham Home. He asks for John Smith to be reimbursed for his losses during the time he was acting as Pilot for the Jamaica Convoy through the gulf of Florida. He was ship owner in the Africa trade but sold his ship in Jamaica and embarked on the Orange Valley. He volunteered for the post when he (Captain Home) was seeking a person to take the place of his Master who was young and ill, for that part of the voyage.
