Folios 193-194: Rodham Home, HMS Africa at sea. William Coates, formerly Gunner of HMS Africa, came on board in Jamaica saying he had been sent by the Admiralty. Mr Coates was discharged, invalided at Halifax 12 months previously. James Henderson, Gunner of HMS Cleopatra, was appointed by Admiral Murray to replace him. He is bringing him home to await orders.
