Folios 471-472: Pitt Burnaby Greene, HMS Bonne Citoyenne, Spithead. Requests William Hayward, Carpenter's Mate, HMS Bonne Citoyenne, is appointed as Carpenter to the ship as he has received no further information respecting Samuel Gooden for whom he applied to be Carpenter. States that Hayward passed the certificate some months since, has long service and has been in action with HMS Furieuse under William Mounsey, Captain.
