Description

Folio 456: John Gascoyne, Regulating Captain, Swansea. Acknowledges receipt of Admiralty letter, dated 2 November 1813, directing him not to send HMS Bloodhound to Milford, contrary to their original directions of 26 October 1813. Advises that HMS Bloodhound has already sailed on 3 November 1813 but that he has written to her commanding officer directing him to attend to his former orders and to return to Swansea to collect his convoy.
