Requests that Samuel Gooden, Carpenter's Mate, HMS Achille, recommended to him by Captain Askew Paffard Hollis, is appointed to HMS Bonne Citoyenne as a Carpenter. Explains that there is a vacancy as a consequence of the former Carpenter being dismissed by sentence of a Court Martial.
