Folios 264-265: Robert Gambier, HMS Pelorus, Gibraltar. Reports on progress following directions of 11 September 1812 to employ a certain number of Boys under the Master Carpenter and Sailmaker. Advises that 1 Boy was placed under the Master Carpenter but made so little progress in the last quarter that he was removed and another placed in lieu. States that as he is deficient os a Sailmaker until last month, it is too early to report on the progress of the Boy under his care.
