Description

Folios 215-216: Pitt Burnaby Greene, London. Encloses a letter from Thomas P Hebbes, Purser, HMS Bonne Caetano, requesting to be appointed to a ship in ordinary on account of his health. Seconds the request saying he is satisfied with the attention and good conduct of the officer.

Folios 217-218: enclosure with folios 215-216: Letter, dated 25 may 1813, from Thomas P Hebbes, Purser, HMS Citoyenne, Spithead to Pitt Burnaby Greene. Requests an appointment to a ship in ordinary due to his health which has been impaired by 2 years away from England in warm climate and his family concerns claiming his attention.
