Folios 207-208: Edward Grey, HMS Fairy, Falmouth. As directed by an order from James Slade, Captain, advises that he has discharged Matthew Harris, Mate, who was sent on board at Plymouth on 6 May 1813 as one of a draft of men sent to complete the ship's complement. Requests that James Slade, HMS Experiment is directed to supply HMS Fairy with a seaman in Harris' room. Encloses a description of 3 men who deserted from HMS Fairy since docking at Falmouth.
Folio 208: enclosure with folios 207-208: Copy of directions, dated 22 May 1813, from James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth to Edward Grey, HMS Fairy Falmouth. Directs Edward Grey, in pursuance to orders from Sir Robert Calder, Admiral, to discharge Matthew Harris, Mate.
