Folios 178-179: Edward Grey, HMS Fairy, Falmouth. Requests Captain Slade, HMS Experiment, receiving ship, is directed to supply a Carpenter to fill the position of Carpenter's Mate as HMS Fairy is short of carpenters, having only 1 warranted Carpenter on board. Explains that the Carpenter's Mate was invalided in Santander in December last, while 2 of the Carpenter's crew are sick in hospital at Plymouth and no superannuated Carpenter on board the Flag ship at Plymouth.
