Folios 148-149: George Martin Guise, HMS Swaggerer, Port de Espagne, Trinidad. Reports that Edward Waterson deserted on 3 April 1813 from HMS Swaggerer and went on board the Columbine, John Jones, Master, Messrs Thomas Huddleston & Co, Owners, belonging to Dublin. Explains that Waterson was found on board hidden in a sort of cave made for that purpose and covered over with bricks which would have kept Waterson from discovery, had he not been sent information which made him search the ship to the keelson.
