Folios 178-179: James Galloway, HMS Princess, Liverpool.
Reports that Thomas Hughes was sent to the ship from the rendezvous on 13 June 1811 as an impressed ordinary seaman. He refers to the enclosures.
Folios 180-181: enclosure with folios 178-179. Dated 16 June 1811, Bodnant near Conway, John Forbes, Lieutenant Colonel West Denbigh Regiment of Local Militia, states that Thomas Hughes is a member. He reprimands Hughes for obtaining a certificate from the captain of the militia.
Folio 182: enclosure with folios 178-179. Edward Oldfield, Captain of 4th Company West Denbigh Regiment 17 June 1811 certifies that Thomas Hughes is a shoemaker and a private in the Regiment. Below he writes that Hughes shoukd not have gone to Liverpool without a certificate.
