Description

Folios 138-139: Edward Grey, address not given.

Refers to the time in 1809 when he was regulating officer at Hull and the case of William Connor. He has been informed that the Admiralty does not approve of his conduct when he discharged the man. He asks for an interview so that he may explain that he did what he believed would benefit the service. States that he will wait below in the Admiralty to receive an answer.
