Folios 106-107: James Galloway, HMS Princess, Liverpool.
Reports that Abram Ely was taken by the civil power from the ship on 27 March 1811 to act as a witness in 2 cases at Lancaster. He allowed the man to be taken having read a letter from the Admiralty to John Richard Lapenotiere of HMS Orestes but reports that Ely has not yet returned.
