Folios 102-103: James Galloway, HMS Princess, Liverpool.
Reports that he has received 2 letters, dated 13 March and 2 April 1811, from Lieutenant Nicholas Kortright commanding the tender HMS Elizabeth at Waterford who complains that foul weather prevented him from reaching Liverpool. Galloway reports that HMS Elizabeth left Plymouth on 24 January 1811 with beds for HMS Elizabeth and newly raised men have no beds. Other vessels have been arriving from Ireland including the brig HMS Providence and Galloway believes that Kortright has trifled with the service.
