Folios 148-149: Edward Grey, Regulating Officer, Hull. Acknowledges receipt of the letter of 8 June in response to his of 6 June outlining the issues with the crew of the Danish Prize ships [see folios 141-142]. Encloses a list of examples for information. He finds that the agents never took account of the number of prisoners, except for the purpose of taking depositions. It appears that the Prize Masters gave them their freedom, or took no further action with them after the depositions had been taken. Some other Prizes have been condemned in Hull, but the agents have left so he is unable to get further details. Since his letter of 6 June, six more Danish Prize ships have arrived in Hull, three taken by HMS Hope and three by HMS Woodlark. He does not know the exact number of prisoners, but he has been informed that the Master at Arms of HMS Hope has deserted.
Folio 150: enclosure with folios 148-149: Edward Grey, Regulating Officer, Hull. List of Prize vessels sent to the port of Hull by various warships from October 1809 to 11 June 1810.
