Folios 179-181: Edward Grey, Regulating Officer, Hull [Rendezvous]. Reports that he caused to be apprehended (in consequence of information) William Tennison who deserted from HMS Clio while laying in Leith Roads in January 1809. When taken he belonged to HMS Charles. He will at the first opportunity be sent to the Flag Ship at Yarmouth to be disposed with as you direct. He is 20 years old has served seven years at sea about eighteen months of which on HMS Clio.
